Week Two Summary:

Tutorial two:

For this session we were instructed to bring a mini experiment for a sense which we chose in the last tutorial. I chose touch and as a small experiment I made a hexagon box with different materials on each face such as powder, fur, astro turf, shaved metal, glass etc. I chose a variety of different surfaces to give a different experience as you would feel something unexpected.

After we all presented our mini experiments we went around and discussed what ideas we have for our actual designs, I thought about it and decided that I would go for a maze like idea which you go through but as a twist you do it blindfolded and you would have to use your touch sense for guidance around the maze but there would be a gradient of surfaces for you to feel whilst going through the maze and the surfaces will change from sharp and jagged to smooth.

This is just a ruff idea and will experiment over the weekend.
