Week Nine Summary:
Tutorial One:
After I received the feed back on Fridays interim I have taken them into deep consideration whilst starting my photoshop file today. As I wanted this app to be an iPhone app I have had to create a high resolution file at 640x960. Once that was created I jumped straight into photoshop to start to create my app! I initially started by copying my wireframe closely as that was the base of my app but also keeping the feedback back I received in the back of my head. It is important to group all the files effectively as it will make it easier when I bring everything into flash to animate my files.
I created my first scene in photoshop being the home screen off an iPhone as I thought it would be quite cool if you had to click on the app itself to open it to start to interact with it.
As you can see on the left you can see how closely I am working with the wireframe as it help then I can develop it from there to make it more effective. I have changed the color of the icon to make it more like the Victoria green itself and also changed the font in my logo to the actual Victoria font being "Book Antiqua" which looks effective and expresses a more effective design.
From now until Friday I want to have my photoshop file finished so I can start to work in flash to create an effective tool to express how my app will look and how it helps to navigate you around the university.
